Wedding Photos of Gerrit AGGENBACH & Maria Anna WOLFF on the SS Volendam

The Dutch writing on the back of the photos was translated and transcribed by Lejanna Bayha on 26 May 2023. The writing was that of Gerrit AGGENBACH.

• Here you have us with the chaplain, who married us. Also taken on board. My moustache is fancy too, don't you think?

• Here you have us with the two witnesses, also both newly married young people. All in all, we have had a nice day and are very happy with each other.

• Here’s the happy bridal couple. It's not very pretty but so be it. The picture was taken by the chaplain who married us. He is very nice and a good man. He's got a new camera and we’re a bit off center.
